What To Do About LaMonte Wade Jr. & Shortstop

Another week, another injury. LaMonte Wade Jr, the rock of the lineup, has fallen. Can anything be done to reduce the damage? Bob and the boys have some crazy ideas. Also, we need to talk about shortstop. The carousel seems to never stop. Is it time to look outside the organization? Also, in the lightning round they talk offense, MLB stat changes, and a little crying baby.

On the cocktail side of things Matthew is drinking Margarita Dorada and Ben is drinking a Berry Gin Old Fashioned.

Margarita Dorada

  • 2 oz Tequila Blanco
  • 3/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 barspoonful of Agave Syrup
  • 1 Dash Orange Bitters

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake 10-12 seconds until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coup glass.

Berry Gin Old Fashioned

  • 4 oz Berry Infused Gin (Wild Icelandic Pink Gin)
  • 1/2 oz Rich Simple Syrup
  • 4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Add gin, simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir to desired dilution. Strain into a rocks glass. Add single large chunk of ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
