Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking a Cherry Ginger Highball while Matthew is drinking a Watermelon Club. Recipes below.
Cherry Ginger Highball
- 1 1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Cherry Liqueur
- 3-4 oz Ginger Beer
- Combine gin and cherry liqueur in a highball glass with no ice. Stir well to combine. Fill the glass with ice and top with the ginger beer.
Watermelon Club
- 2 oz Gin with botanicals
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Watermelon Syrup
- 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
- 1 egg white
- Watermelon chunk for garnish
- Add all ingredients except the garnish to a cocktail shaker without ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Add ice and shake for another 10-12 seconds until well-chilled. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a watermelon cube on a pick.
