Cold Brewed Grapefruit Soda

It's Happy Hour! In this episode Matthew presents the popular thirst quenching Polama and no grapefruits were harmed in the making. Meanwhile Ben is drinking a Cold Brew Old Fashion, it's dark, moody, and perfect to sip while not reading books. The hosts also discuss their pipe cleaner arms, burning people with butter and the absolute correct order to add ingredients while building a cocktail. Recipes below.

Paloma

  • 2 oz Tequila (Blanco or Reposado)
  • 1/2 oz Lime juice
  • Grapefruit Soda, chilled, to top
  • Garnish with a lime wheel
  • Optional Garnish: Salted or Tajin rim

Add tequila and lime juice to a highball glass and fill with ice. Top with grapefruit soda, and stir gently to combine. Garnish and serve.

Cold Brew Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz Cold Brew
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2-4 dashes of Chocolate Bitters
  • Orange Peel for garnish

Add bourbon, cold brew, simple syrup and bitters to mixing glass. Stir with bar spoon. Add large chunk of ice to a rocks glass, pour bourbon mix over ice. Stir 15-20 times. Express orange peel over glass if desired. Toss orange peel in glass. Enjoy.
