Injuries and Their Silver Linings

Can you play the outfield? Asking for some friends. The brothers triage the injury riddled outfield. They discuss which player, after Lee, is the most disappointing to see go down. They also ask if these injuries could have a silver lining. On that note, how much will Ramos, Matos, and Schmitt play? Also they look ahead to the All-Star Game and ponder how many All-Stars the Giants will have. It's not a lot. Sigh.

On the cocktail side of things Matthew is drinking an Emerald Zinger and Ben is drinking a Mother's Apr'oun. Recipes below.

Emerald Zinger

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 3/4 oz Green Tea Syrup
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Ginger Liqueur
  • 2 Dashes Cherry Bitters

Mother's Apr'oun

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Apricot Liqueur
  • 4-6 oz Club Soda

Pour, pour, pour over ice. Stir once. Gently. Protect the bubbles. You’re done.
