Buster Pulls the Plug as Giants SELL Tyler Rogers, Get SWEPT by AWFUL Pirates

**Warning: Explicit** RIP 2025. Our mourners process the demise of the 2025 season as Buster Posey declares the Giants non-contenders by trading away one of top 5 relievers in baseball.

Our new cocktail podcast, The Perfect Sip, is on hiatus but new episodes are in production. (Yeah, it's taking a long time ... life, you know?) If you haven't listened yet, you can catch up here: https://the-perfect-sip.captivate.fm/listen

Speaking of cocktails, today Matthew is drinking a Bitter Buster while Ben is drinking Sh*t From My Bar. Recipes below.

Bitter Buster

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1/2 oz Averna
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 Dash Black Walnut Bitters
  • Orange Peel for Garnish
  • Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds, until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Express orange peel over the drink. Discard peel like a once-loved reliever.

Sh*t From My Bar

  • 1 -3 novelty travel bottles of liquor you received as a gift or bought as a gag
  • 1-3 flavored sodas (like coke or Jolt or something
  • Your dignity for garnish
  • Open one or more of the travel bottles of liquor. Open one or move the sodas. Combine in glass with ice. Remove your dignity. Drink. Don’t lie if you like it. (You won't like it, but you'll drink it anyway.)
